I use this for my Brazilians and it's a DREAM! It makes it so much more comfortable. I have one of the lowest pain tolerances of anybody I know, and I just rub some of this around the area, cover it in saran wrap for an hour and then go to my appointments and it's perfect.

I am so surprised by this product! I bought this before getting a pretty large tattoo on my outer forearm. About 1 hour prior to getting the tattoo,During the tattoo, there was absolutely no major pain as I usually felt. You can feel the needle on your skin, but it's not an intense pain at all. Worth the money!

This stuff is amazing!!! I used it when I got my lover tattoo and I didn't feel anything during the outline. I kept having to look over and see if he was even tattooing me lol. I felt a little bit of something when he did the shading, it didn't hurt nearly as bad as it would've without the numbing though. I put it on an hour before my appointment. I started by rubbing a thin layer in my skin then I put a little bit of a thicker layer on and lightly wrapped it with Sticky wrap and let it sit for an hour.

I applied this numbing cream about 30-40 minutes before the tattoo started. i really lathered it on, i dont know if you need to or not though. the tattoo artist thought it wouldnt work that well because most that he knew of needed to be applied hours before and thoroughly washed with hot water to open the pores. i was super bummed because it was my underarm by my armpit that was being tattooed. To our surprise it worked right away and lasted about 4 hours. i love this cream and recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love this cream. I used it for nipples piercings today and I felt nothing. I put the cream on some gauze placed them on my nipple area inside of my bra for about 4 hours up until my appointment time literally before I was to walk in the door I'm sure they were brick hard because when the person that did the piercing for me put the clamps on and pushed the ring through it was painless. I just felt a little tiny bit of pressure as the ring was inserted but I was noting in comparison to what it could've been and I got them both done at the same time by two different people. It was everything I could've imagined.

GREAT PRODUCTNever wrote a review until now so here it is I got home at 4:45 took a shower then applied the cream at 5:15 a good amount then Saran Wrap everything. Drove to the tattoo shop stay wrapped until 6:50 and then started the process, it's now 9:35pm and it is still doing it's job some spot are wearing off but it's still okay I can tolerate the pain will be buying another tube for my thigh and Butt tattoo in a couple weeks.... My whole upper body is almost done. I used this for my ribs and stomach (my most sensitive areas). This stuff works well if used properly. I was able to get 7 hour sessions in (my artist was too tired to go longer) and still be numb at the end. Instructions:1. Using a latex glove, apply LIBERALLY to the tattoo area 2 hours before. Make sure to apply it around the area that is getting tatted also, not just directly on the tatted area. For instance, if you're getting your belly button tatted (weird example I know), apply to whole belly to ensure the nerves around it are numb as well. Otherwise, you'll still feel it in certain places.2. Wrap in saran wrap3. 1 hour before - apply again LIBERALLY, then cover back up with saran wrap4. During session, apply more to areas that are not going to be worked on first.

I knew it would numb but I wasn't sure how much. I've never used a numbing cream before.I have a very large cover up we're working on. From my ribs (about where your bra line is) down a bit past my hip bone on my left side. Very sensitive area.With this cream I was shocked not to feel a thing, especially on my ribs!So here's what I did, for those wondering. At 11am I rubbed a thin layer into my skin until it soaked it all up. Then I floated a nice thick layer over the whole area we were going to be working on and covered it with plastic wrap. Kept that on until the moment we started tattooing, 12:25. My tattoo artist just wiped it off as he worked.

I have a pain disorder and this was so amazing. Sat for a 6 hour forearm tat and this lasted for a good 5 hours in some spots. Even as it wore off in others it still dulled the pain. I applied 2 coats. One rubbed in and the other wrapped with plastic wrap an hr before the appt.

I used this to see how well it would lower the pain from sitting through a 6 hour tattoo session. It was amazing! For the first several hours I didn't even really feel like I was getting tattooed! Highly recommend! I put on whole location about an hour before, then a few min later I put a heavy thick coat on the whole location and wrapped with Saran Wrap. I left it on for about an hour until I got to the shop. Just make sure to tell your tattoo artist that you did this so they know

Was going to give this review 3 stars because it wasn't numbing how I thought it would, but then realized I was doing it all wrong. Right after you put the cream on that specific area !!WRAP THAT AREA WITH PLASTIC WRAP!! Doing so really helps it absorb the skin. Halfway through my sleeve the numbing went away though lol.

I rub the product on and wrapped it for approximately 45 minutes just like I was told before my tattoo appointment. I washed it off and then went to my appointment and the pain went from an eight to about a three once it was applied. I would never get another tattoo without it I didn't even tell the tattoo artist and it did not affect the color he he had no idea. I would highly recommend if you have a low pain tolerance. The numbing lasted for about two hours full strength and then another two hours partial strength.

I used this product to finish my coverup . I put it on 2 hours before my appointment and wrapped my arms in Saran Wrap . I left the Saran Wrap on until I got to the shop and let my artist take it off . I was pretty skeptical but this had good reviews so I was hoping for the best since last my last session was very painful . As soon as my artist started tattooing I was shocked when I was actually numb ! This worked so well and I can't believe I didn't use this sooner .A Tip; out a thicker layer in and don't miss any spots . You can definitely tell where I didn't put a thicker layer or missed spots .

Overall great product. Not as thick as I thought. I needed ut ASAP for this and it was delivered quickly.Session was around 3.5hrs long and most of it I didn't feel.Make sure you're letting it sit over an hr for better results.I had a little pain the last 30min. However I didn't have the time let it sit longer on my leg. This piece is at least 9x11

When I say this stuff works, it works. I applied the cream on my arm 1 hour before my session, and I must say I was shocked at how numb my arm was. Lol!After I applied the cream I wrapped my arm with clear wrapping and let it set while I drove to my appointment. Needless to say after my 45 minute drive to my appointment I started to freak out because I did not expect it to work, but it did. I felt absolutely nothing the whole time she was working on my arm. I will most definitely be using this product again. One more thing, I do believe the cream works better the then the 5% Lidocaine ointment.

I looked at reviews because normally this stuff doesn't work but it had better reviews then other. i used it on the back of my neck and my side around my hip bone and down my thigh. my neck i barely felt and my hip piece i asked my tattoo artist if he had started because i didn't feel anything. there was places i missed and you could feel the difference. this product is amazing. use it for two hours before. the longer the better!! coat it on too

Not one for pain and wanted to get a tattoo for a long time. Followed everyone's advice on applying liberally over the area an hour beforehand and wrapping in Saran Wrap. I would say the numbness lasted for at least 1 1/2 hrs before starting to wear off. Felt just tingling and slight pinching during tattoo application. Totally recommend this product if you are a first timer like me. It's a game changer!

I got a bargain basement tattoo done on my leg and had to get it covered up. Won't go in to how much this is costing me. But this cream is the best. It's expensive but so worth the money. I've gotten 19 hrs into this tattoo and still have 6 more hrs to go to finish the color. I use this ever time I go I put it on very thick and wrap with saran wrap. Then fir the next 4 hrs I don't feel anything. I even feel asleep once lol. Don't hesitate on this it's amazing.

I started this tattoo for first and second session with no numbing! Had it for the third and will def have it for the last one and the thigh peice we are connecting to it bc this stuff is amazing! It wears off after a few hours bur nothing to add some more in the spots that are left!!!! Add more where they are working ad they are going once it does and you'll be good. I felt absolutely zero pain!!!! I never write reviews but I had to on this one. I'm covered in tattoos and I'll never get another one without this stuff!

This stuff work! This is for my people getting laser hair removal. I was such a baby doing my laser and have been wanting to try to numbing cream. The reviews got me so mixed but i said screen it what's the worst that's going to happen. I did follow the instructions on putting it on for 30 minutes (do not rub it in, like blob it on) and put cling wrap on top. After 30 min blob again the cream and put the cling wrap on again for another 30-45min.

Ended up with a ton, and I mean a ton of mosquito bites to my hands one rather innocuous looking evening this past summer out in a friend's backyard; fell asleep, but hands were exposed. Why those bits were attacked and not elsewhere on my person? I do not know. Anyway, the following day my hands felt like they'd been dipped in acid. It was probably around 20 bites per hand. Hydrocortisone and this stuff was my friend most of that day. Definitely helped tone down that burning ache. I can totally see using this after getting inked. I bet that burns equally if not worse lol.

I purchased this to use before getting a tattoo on my wrist. It did help a little considering this is the strongest numbing cream you can buy without a prescription. But let's be honest, tattoos hurt like a mofo so yes it still hurt. I also used for numbing face before getting fillers. I recommend if you are looking to take the edge off. Just don't expect it to block all of the pain.

I got a tattoo on the inside of my arm and applied this numbing cream roughly 30 minutes before my session. Surprisingly, the cream helped with the pain and kept it to a minimum. I was able to sit through a 6 hours session and only reapplied the cream once! Would definitely recommend at least for tattoos.

Now, I'm a pretty big wimp with pain. I was terrified of the pain for my first tattoo but I definitely still wanted it. My artist recommended this brand and I was hesitant since some of the reviews said it didn't work. I think I found the issue though - you have got to wrap it real tight with serán wrap and seal it off with medical tape. I tested a bit of this on my skin twice without wrapping before my session to see if it would do anything. It did not, literally nothing. When I went to my appointment I still decided to try it, hoping a larger area would work, wrapped it up real tight this time and put some tape on it and a jacket to let the heat get trapped. When my artist took it off my skin wasn't super numb feeling, but I didn't feel any pain with the tattoo

I went and had my nipples done once before and it was the worst pain I've ever felt from a piercing. I had to take them out because of improper placement. A year later, I decided I wanted them done again and refused to feel that pain again. I bought this cream hoping it would numb me enough to take the edge off….guys when I tell you I BARELY felt that needle!!! This is perfect for those deep/really painful piercings!! I left the cream on for a couple hours and reapplied 45 minutes before I went in and it worked wonders. I hope this helps!!

This product works fantastically! I used it for Brazilian laser hair removal and I couldn't feel any of the laser zaps! I applied a *thick* layer on the area, let it sit for about 40 minutes to absorb, then applied another thick layer and sit for another 20 minutes. I just wiped off all the residue prior to my appointment, and just like that, I didn't feel a thing! Highly recommend this product. By letting the product thoroughly sit and absorb, I didn't need any cling wrap.

Confusing but works
So I bought this to use when I get a new tattoo, as the product description said it's for. It comes in the mail and I was initially thrown off by the uses listed on the packaging but I tried it anyway. It worked to help numb the area where the tattoo was done. I was completely numb for a and hour or 2. 2-3 hours in I could feel a little something, just kind of the realization of "oh yeah, I'm being tattooed right now". I'd say after 3 hours it basically wore off. I'll never get another tattoo without purchasing this stuff and applying it first! LIFE SAVER!

Worked great on my inner arm/armpit area for about 90 min....after that it's back to normal.

I am a chicken whenever it comes to needles and pain. I have a half of tattoo on my back because of the pain. I wanted to get another tattoo and was scared because my half one was so painful. When I tell you this works trust and believe. I applied 45 mins before, wrapped my arm in saran. It took another 15-20 to fill out forms and the Junior to do his part. I was talking to my daughter wondering when will he start. I asked him and he told me he had already started and was almost finished. What!! Guys the only thing I felt was him doing the last part of the coloring. It started to wear out but it wasn't painful at all. I am ordering some more for my tattoo on this Friday. I recommend this to Highly.

Maybe not the best for tattoos
So I first did a small test on the skin that was going to get the tattoo to make sure there would be no irritation or reaction. Nothing negative happened and there was some mild numbing. The day of the tattoo I applied a good amount to clean skin and let it set for about an hour making sure it was covered so it wouldn't dry. It worked for about the first half hour of the appointment but quickly wore off. I'm glad the beginning of the appointment started off nice and easy so I can gradually settle into the pain, but it didn't exactly last as long as advertised.

Actually works
After trying about 6 different numbing creaks, this one finally did the trick. I used it for a 4 hour tattoo session. In some places it lasted past the 4 hour mark, some less, but got me through a really painful area.I did apply a significant amount, wrapped in seran wrap for about an hour. Unwrapped, wiped clean and at about an hour and a half I wasn't feeling much. I think the key is to keep it on for 60-90 mins after applying and dont forget to seran wrap!!

Takes the sting away
This does not numb your skin. You will feel the tattoo needles, but it does take the sting out of tattooing. If you want to be fully numb, look for a higher percentage of lidocaine.

Lasted 3 1/2 hours
Applied like instructions 1hour before and wrap with saran wrap. Applied several more time before starting a 4 hour session and it lasted about 3 1/2 hours. I felt little to no pain would suggest.

I don't feel like it does any different to be honest I use it for the first time and it hurts even thou I had applied it a hour before usage. I tried it with another tattoo without the numbing cream felt the same.

Product is good but came damaged
Box came broken and covered with tape, deal had a hole on the tube, cap wasn't put on right. The product was used for my industrial and surface tragus and didn't feel a thing! Numbness lasted for 2 hours. Didn't really numb my nipples though.

Product worked ok for my tattoo on my leg. I tried to apply 3 different way but nothing absorbed into my skin. Once the tattoo artist wiped my leg, the cream went this it.

You need to put a LOT ON
I think this would have worked better if I had only put MORE on. I regret not slathering more. I mean, tbh, I still handled my tattoo better than I expected and I think partially Bc of this cream, but I have an inkling it would have been better had I applied like half or all of the bottle instead. Size of my tattoo is just smaller than an average hand.

Does work you can't be half donkied about it!
This stuff does work but you must cover it with Saran Wrap. And it has to be a good job. Don't just haphazardly slap some on once you apply the cream. It has to be carefully applied as if it was the finish coat of wall paper or something.
